I've been thinking some about fan art. I'm not a big fan myself of the phenomenon but I understand it. And what a great way to establish yourself by saluting your old heroes. If you remake a classic concept, let's say TMNT. Make them feel new and give them a contemporary look. Not some nostalgic thing of the past, you might just find yourself noticed, since you enhance something that everybody knows and can relate to.
