"Fast as the wind, quiet as a forest, aggressive as fire, and immovable as a mountain." - Samurai Battle Banner

Thank you! I´ve been having it done for a while but I spent about 4-5 hours editing, shading, removing and retouching it. So I guess having parts done really comes in handy. Usually I´m really afraid of going back to drawings but this proves it has some good to it...

Nice drawing and I like the way you cropped it. I also enjoy looking at how you put together a costume.

Thank you Ben, I have quite the love-hate relationship to that certaint moment of drawing characters. What scares me the most is how cloth reacts to, perhaps whats underneath it or if a belt is strapped along the whole body, how it folds, it´s interesting. And Chainmail armor is the nightmare, how to simplify a thousand metalrings that shines in the sun and is swung around by a adrenalin pumped warrior, so you have to include motion, reflection, detail, some sort of minimalism and and simplicity. How to develop a technique that looks realistic but doesn´t need ALL the millions of metal rings?

Or the metalglance of a breastplate?

Sweet Graphite goodness. I love all his armaments and all the love you put into detailing them. Really nice work. You know one thing to make this pop is to adjust the contrast slightly, after you scan the pencils in. We all know how the sketch looses something once it goes through the scanner. This will help it out just a little.

Cheers!

han ser jävligt pissed of ut, du måste seriöst ta med den här bilden till skolan någon dag så man får se den i all dess prakt! skitbra jobbat!
:iconwulfhaer:
Please, can you learn me how to draw like that ;)?

Next time: chainmaille :D ;).

My gallery. Take a look or you'll regret it, maybe [link]
