Because I'm so damn stuck with it and because I've been moving to a new apartment I haven't been able to finish this and I'm wondering if I'll ever...

It's a battle taking place in the 500- 700s Sweden.

The chieftain of Högom and his loyal brother in arms find themselves decieved by the rest of the surrounding tribes and takes an epic last stand so they together can enter Valhall (Valhalla) ... or something like that.

All equipment is based on archeological finds from Sweden at this time.

EDIT: I saturated the colors a bit, thought of them too vibrant for the mood I was trying to express.

I didn't see him at first! That guy just inspired a really cool image in my head, of something similar but a lot more over the top: a couple fighters crouching with their overlapping shields over their heads and a frenzied berserker standing on them with both feet, all frothing and hunched forward, ready to eviscerate!
