My cousin and I had an Art Trade. My task was to make a Jymse in modern time and his was a big ugly grotesque head rising from a swamp.

Here´s my motivation: If Jymses would live in modern time they would be gangsters. They would not accept the treatment other natives around the world has had to withstand. They would turn the table and riot in the cities. Have unbeatable underground networks and pirate servers far greater than Piratebay. Tall people are greedy without being aware of it so the Jymses will make them see what they´re doing wrong! People would talk of the short people with the never ending grins and smiles and the torching pipes in the dark nights!

Don't want to have 'm as an enemy... But that won't happen.

I digitally know their creator! :)

You can be at ease Willem, you´ve been under their protection all since you left sweden. They followed you from there, so you´ve brought some to Holland. If you see one make sure they haven´t got the wrong tobacco in their pipes! ;)

Haha! I thought the Tomtes living in Sweden do not leave the houses they are born in...

Or can I not compare Jymse with Tomte :)?

But it's good to know they protect me, always comes in useful, right?

And I make sure they will not get any herbs other then the tabacco they used to...

-Wulf.
Ha! Tomtar and Jymsar are not to compare! Jymsar have a task in life and that is the be off on a great journey, an epic one, and then return to their homes.

Being under the protection of Jymsar is not to rely on. They are very selfish among others than their own kind. If you want to try their pipe be ready to pay a handsome fine. And if you´d be attacked by someone, they might aswell pick up the pieces after you´ve been beaten down, but it is rare. But if you show great curage and selfasteem, they´ll always be their to put more wood into the fire. (I will submit a pic very soon whom shows a chosen of the Jymses! He is ambidexterious and finnish! No Jymse knows Finnish! Now I won´t tell you anymore, but be on your toes, I might just submit it this evening!)

If you see a Jymse with a bit morbid grin in his face, you know he´s got the wrong tobacco! The right one smells like bark and a musty apple aroma.

One Tomte, many Tomtar

One Jymse, many Jymsar

Now you should be able to handle Jymses in you own territory. Oh! And they like to break branches when you are walking in the woods! They know humans are a little to paranoid!
