Swedens greatest Jazz musician has passed away in a diving accident. I´m in heavy grief and can´t stop thinking of him... I was lucky to have seen the band E.S.T (Esbjörn Svensson Trio) on their last gig at home (probably ever) in sweden.
He was known worldwide to dare blending in pop and hardrock into Jazz. They often called themselves "a pop band playing jazz".
Last time I saw him he was eating a cheese and cucumber sandwich, all happy with the latest gig. I even got his autograph, first I thought taking autographs was quite childish of me but I don´t regreat it a second today, as you might understand.

Please, even if you´re not into Jazz you´ll find something for you in this music. When I got introduced to them I only to extreme death/power/proggressive/black metal. This changed my taste for music. Please visit [link]
